  • Virtual Account: Also called Virtual Bank Account or VBA for short. Account held by an end-user, Corporate or Consumer. No balance is physically held on this account. The funds are directly routed to a Trust Account (master account). Every account has a unique number (Virtual IBAN), which helps to separate funds in the Trust Account (master account). Can be a single or multiple currency, both have only one IBAN. Multi-currency accounts have multiple virtual account codes to identify them.
  • Virtual IBAN (vIBAN): Unique number which helps to separate funds of different Virtual Accounts in a master account (Trust Account). It looks exactly the same as a regular IBAN and performs the same routing function for payments.
